Ta Prohm (and friends)

We began our second day at Angkor with the aforementioned sunrise at Angkor Wat. After a run back to the hotel for a nap, we headed out to the temples again.

We started at Ta Prohm, one of the most famous temples in the complex. As for the other temples we saw… I’m a bit embarrassed here. I figured I’d be able to spot them on the map so I didn’t write down their names, but I saw so many temples it’s hard to keep them straight. Plus, I sent the Ankor book that I bought back to Korea with Martin and Kris, so some of the names escape me. Lame, I know.

Anyway, on to the pics!

This is Ta Prohm, known for its ancient trees, and more recently, as a set for the “Tomb Raider” movie. The next several pictures are from Ta Prohm.

This is not Ta Prohm. Sadly, I forget the name of this one, although it looks similar to the temples in Ayutthaya, yeah?
